Chehre has performed poorly in the extended Janmashtami weekend. The film started slowly on opening Friday and failed to show any good growth through the weekend. The major shock is that film remained at a lower level on 1st Monday, which was a holiday because of Janmashtami.
Chehre collected 65 lakh net on Saturday (2nd Day). It registered a jump of 40-45% from the first day. Ideally, the jump should have been close to 100% considering the opening of the film was low. Film registered a 30% jump on Sunday and did a business of 85 lakh net.
Chehre collected 40 lakh net on Monday (4th day). Drop from Friday was around 10-12%. Ideally, Monday's number should have been more than Friday considering it was a holiday. Film total business at the end of four days stands at 2.35 crore net mark. The film will struggle to touch even a 5 crore net in the first week now. A lifetime business of 10 crore net is looking like a distant dream now.
