F9: The Fast Saga is Racing towards $150 million in China

F9: The Fast Saga has simply stormed China Box Office. The film has already crossed the $100 million mark and should go close to the $150 million mark by the end of the first weekend. If the film holds well on Sunday it has an outside chance of even touching the $150 million mark. 



China theatres are fully open now and there seems no effect of Covid-19 at this moment. People are coming in numbers now to theatres. Fast and Furious always opened well in China and the story goes the same for the ninth installment also.


F9 has added a very well $47.45 million on Saturday (Day 3). The film has already added $11.23 million (1 pm Beijing Time) on Sunday (Day 4). The film is again eyeing in excess of $40 million for the day. F9 total business to date is approx $117.31 million and should go close to the $150 million mark by the end of Sunday.


Collection Breakup - 


Day 1 (Thursday, Limited Showings) - $9.5 million

Day 2 (Friday) - $49.13 million

Day 3 (Saturday) - $47.45 million

Day4 (Sunday, till 1 pm Beijing Time) - $11.23 million


Total - $117.31 million
