Here is a big update for Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan, and Dhanush fans. Much awaited Atrangi Re shooting will commence from October 2020. Producers have made all necessary safety plans and will take a guide from live sports events that are going on. The same protocols will be followed by the team of Atrangi Re.
It will be a three-month long schedule starting from October. The first filming will commence in Madurai, followed by in Delhi and then in Mumbai. Akshay Kumar who has also a very important role in the film will join the crew and cast in Delhi.
It is known that Akshay has given a one-month shooting schedule for Atrangi Re.
Director Aanand L Rai has confirmed the development. He says,
"Yes, I’m really excited to start the next scheduled planned for October in Madurai. I have the full support of the cast and crew. We are hoping that things will improve by the time we are ready to shoot. Rather, during the lockdown, I got a lot of time to prep for the upcoming schedule. We will be filming outdoors, but it’s going to be a very organised shoot. We will try to wrap up in the minimum time possible"
Atrangi Re is a cross-cultural love story. Filming of Atrangi Re started in March this year featuring Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan. But it was stopped abruptly because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The film is originally planned for the 12 February 2021 release. It will be interesting to see if makers can keep the original date or not.
