Thappad had a decent second-weekend collection. Although it registered a significant drop on 2nd Friday, recovered ground on 2nd Saturday and 2nd Sunday. Decent 2nd weekend ensures that film will cross 30 crore net in India now.
Thappad has collected a decent 5.05 crore net approx on 2nd weekend. Thus, the total business at the end of 10 days is 27.8 crore net approx.
Thappad should now easily cross 30 crore net in India. Lifetime business is trending towards 32-33 crore net finish. It means film is now out of flop zone and will emerge as an average at the box office.
