Thappad had a good trending through the opening weekend. Thus, film has put up a decent total for the weekend. The film will need a solid hold on Monday and good trending through the weekdays to put up a respectable total for the week.
As there is Baaghi 3 is releasing in theaters film need to add as much as possible as business may be dented in the second week.
Thappad has collected 6.55 crore net approx on Sunday (day 3). Thus, the film total at the end of the first weekend is 14.65 crore net approx. Thappad will cross 20 crore net in the first week. However, the film may find it tough to touch or cross 30 crore net in its theatrical run in India unless it shows strong trending from 4th day onward and also in the second week.
