We all know by now that almost most of the countries are infected with Covid 19 positive patients. Coronavirus which started its journey from Wuhan, China is on a World Tour now. Because of coronavirus whole world has come to a standstill and almost the majority of us are lockdown at our home. The situation is dangerous at this moment and we all need to stay calm and protected.

Nearly 6 Lakh people worldwide are affected until the last report. In the USA alone there are more than 1 lakh people affected by this virus. Around 27000+ people have died across the globe out of which nearly 25000 have died in Italy, Spain, China, Iran, France, USA, UK, and Netherlands alone. Numbers are increasing rapidly at this moment. Only China has able to control it at this moment.

Impact -

Because of this Covid 19 Coronavirus, everything has come to a standstill. Only emergency works are in progress. Work from Home (WFH) is the most popular style of work at this moment. Sports and Entertainment Industry is totally closed. Many other industries are closed at this moment. Many have lost their jobs and more people are going to be jobless in the coming times.

As most of the country is finding tough to contain this human to human transmissible disease. The lockdown period may extend. It may be for 2-3 weeks or a month or 2-3 months or even 6 months or even more. No doubt, we all who are alive, have never seen such a phenomenon in our whole lifetime.

Symptoms
The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are fever, tiredness, and dry cough. Some patients may have aches and pains, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat or diarrhea. These symptoms are usually mild and begin gradually. Some people become infected but don’t develop any symptoms and don't feel unwell. Most people (about 80%) recover from the disease without needing special treatment. Around 1 out of every 6 people who gets COVID-19 becomes seriously ill and develops difficulty breathing. Older people, and those with underlying medical problems like high blood pressure, heart problems or diabetes, are more likely to develop serious illness. People with fever, cough and difficulty breathing should seek medical attention.
Solutions -

1. Vaccination is the permanent solution and testing is currently in progress. It may take 6 to 18 months for the vaccine to be ready. 

2. Another solution is that a combination of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin is given to the high-risk Covid 19 patient and the recovery success rate is pretty high. It is not the official drug for Covid 19 patients. Testing is currently in progress. Again this drug should be consumed by high-risk patients only and under the proper guidance of the concerned doctor. 

Facts - 

1. Coronavirus not only affects infants and old people but also affects all other age groups.

2. Coronavirus is effective in all kinds of weather conditions, be it Colder, Warmer or Hotter.

3. Coronavirus is not only transmitting from human to human but also is airborne or by touching the contaminated surface that was infected by the Covid 19 positive person via touching, speaking, sneezing or coughing. (Update -> Coronavirus is not Airborne)

4. There is no official full proof drug or vaccination available at this moment.

Precautions -

1. Don't follow every Tom, Dick, and Harry for information on Youtube, Facebook, Whatsapp, Twitter or any other social media. All are not doctors or specialists. Stay away from fake news as it might create panic.

2. We need to make social distancing now. Don't go outside unless it is extremely urgent. Don't allow others to visit your building or campus.

3. Kindly put a stop to online shopping. If it is extremely critical kindly collect that courier outside the campus.

4. Doors, Door handles, Main Gate, Clothes, Vegetable, Milk, etc, all act as fomites which may carry coronavirus. Hence, kindly disinfect all these stuff before use. Or kindly store commodities for 12-14 hrs in a separate place so that the virus could die.

5. The virus can affect any age group. Anyone who is Covid 19 positive can pass it to others also.

6. Covid 19 symptoms may appear between 2-14 days after getting infected. So even if we are carrying it the symptoms may take time to appear. In most cases, symptoms may not appear at all.

7. Wear a mask while going out. Don't take your hand near your mouth or nose. Only one person from the family should go out in need of any grocery or vegetable shopping. Once returned from shopping kindly wash the clothes properly. Take a proper bath and wash your hands properly.

The best precaution is Stay Healthy, Stay Safe and Stay Indoors! This is the best time to enjoy with family as we may not get such a chance again in our whole lifetime!
