Malang has shown a good hold on 2nd Friday (8th day) at the box office. The film also got little benefit from Valentine's Day but again screens are lost because of the big release Love Aaj Kal. Hence, Valentine's day boost is totally neutralized.
Malang has collected 2.25 crore net approx on day 8. Drop from day 7 is around 25% which is not bad at all. Film total business thus stands at 41.85 crore net approx. The film is now certain to cross 50 crore net mark in India and that will give it an average verdict.
For the film to emerge as success will need to touch 60 crore net in India. That is very much possible now and all depends on good trending from here on. 2nd Friday hold suggests that the lifetime business is trending 60 crore net finish. 2nd Monday will give us a further clear idea.
