Panga has shown excellent jump on Saturday (2nd day) at the box office. Jump is actually miraculous as on day one it is looking as if the film is heading towards an outright flop. However, the scenario is completely changed on day 2 and if it shows another good jump on Sunday then a respectable first weekend is on cards.
Panga has collected 5.6 crore net approx on day 2. Jump from day one is more than 100% which is outstanding. However, numbers are decent only as first-day business was below par. Film two day total stands at 8.3 crore net approx. Film first weekend total is heading towards 15 (+/-) crore net finish.
Ideally, Panga needed an 18-20 crore net for the weekend. It will be behind but if Sunday shows a good jump again then it can recover the lost ground on weekdays. Word of mouth be it audience or critics both are positive and it should help the film to hold well on weekdays.
