Dabangg 3 Advance Booking Report for Opening Friday

Dabangg 3 is the big release of this festive time and is easily one of the biggest releases of the year. Makers decided to release the film pre-Christmas period and hence, opening day will be a normal working day. Christmas will fall on day 6 and by then word of mouth will be known to everyone. Will it be able to take benefit of the festive period? Only time will tell.

Dabangg 3 first weekend will depend on two major factors. Salman Khan star power and content. There is no special holiday in the first 3 days. Christmas eve is on 1st Tuesday and benefits will come from thereon.

Currently, there is an issue regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA/CAB) which is passed by the Govt. Because of that in certain parts of India advance booking for the film is affected. We might see less footfall in these parts in the first few days. 

Now coming to advance booking of Dabangg 3. As per the last report around 18-20% of tickets are sold out wherever advances have started. In various places, advances have started as late as Wednesday that is today only. As for any other film, this kind of advance is good. But as per Salman Khan standard advances are less despite Friday being a normal working day.

Dabangg 3 is a proper commercial masala entertainer. We simply hope that spot booking will be good otherwise first-day collection may be below the expected levels. A Salman Khan starrer film is expected to open 25-30 crore net across India even on a working day. Anything less will be below standard. 

Film advances are decent to good in North and South India. Advances are decent in the West and Central part. Advances are low in the Eastern part of India.
