Pagalpanti First Weekend Box Office Collection Report

Pagalpanti registered good jump on Sunday (3rd day) at the box office. Still box office numbers are below par and film will need terrific trending from here on to reach safety. The main problem is the film budget and because of that, even a good trending is not helping the film cause.

Pagalpanti added 8.5 crore net approx on day 3. Film total collection at the end of first weekend is 20.4 crore net approx. The film should touch 30 crore net by the end of the first week.

The second week is very crucial for the film now. It can see a normal trend in week two. 2nd Friday number should be good and if possible should be at par or even better than 1st Thursday. But before that film needs to hold very strong on 1st Monday. It can't show the usual 40-50% drop on Monday now.

Collection Breakup -

Friday - 5.3 crore net

Saturday - 6.6 crore net

Sunday - 8.5 crore net

Total - 20.4 crore net approx

  2. The casting director who thought that John Abraham can tickle some funny bones needs to get himself checked in a mental asylum.

What John is doing is just blindly copying Akshay's choice of movies & expecting things to click for himself. Akshay started as an Action Hero, John started with Action. Akshay started patriotic films, John started doing patriotic films. Akshay went back to comedy genre, guess what!!! John decided to do comedy too. But, where Akshay is probably the finest actor of his generation who can do any role with ease, John is nothing more than a wooden furniture who would probably evoke laughter when he is trying to emote & make people cry when he is actually doing a comic scene.

Feel sad for Anil Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, & Arshad Warsi. Really fine actors let down by a non-actor harboring delusions of grandeur.
