Ujda Chaman is the new release of this week. Film has managed to get decent screening for the week. In fact, considering the face value of the film screening is more than sufficient.
Last week releases Saand Ki Aankh has managed to retain most of its screen. Made In China screening is heavily reduced and it is insignificant now. Last week's biggest release Housefull 4 again leads the screen count fight and its screening is reduced by 35-40%.
Coming to Housefull 4 first. Film has managed to get good 2300 screens across India for the second week. Film has done very well at the box office and set to rule again in week 2. Film has collected 140 crore net in the first week and is now chasing magical 200 crore net mark.
Ujda Chaman has managed to get 1200-1300 screens which are more than sufficient for it. The question is whether the film can utilize significant screenings or just fizzle out in the coming days.
Saand Ki Aankh did perform decently in the weekdays after a poor start in the weekend. This good trending has helped the film to retain good screening for the second week. It has retained around 700 screens for week 2. Yes, there is potential and the question is whether it can fulfill its potential or not.
