Housefull 4 business in the fifth weekend has further come down. The film is in dying stages now and should wrap up its lifetime business under 210 crore net mark. The film is already a smash hit at the box office.
Housefull 4 added 45-50 lakh net approx in the 5th weekend. Film total collection thus stands at 208 crore net approx. The film should add another 50-60 lakh at most in the rest of its theatrical business in India.
Housefull 4 is the highest-grossing film of Akshay Kumar's career. The film was badly panned by critics still it did in excess of 200 crore net in India alone. Just imagine the present state of critics in India. Yes, this is also true that being one of the most awaited film of 2019 ideally Housefull 4 should have done more business as the craze for the film was immense prior to its release.

ReplyDeleteThe early numbers reported at the end of the week aren't accurate numbers but approx. The final accurate numbers for any week only arrive after 10-15 days. In such case, numbers do undergo some corrections. BOI also does the same. Once it receives the accurate numbers, it updates the figure. Initially, it reported the week 1 numbers at 138 crores but later corrected it to 136 crores when the final numbers were received. Producers usually report numbers on slightly higher side being a bit optimistic. I suppose the whole negativity & question mark over BO figures has cautioned the producers & they are instead reporting lower end numbers just inorder to ensure nobody raises any questions.
