Housefull 4 has taken a steady start at the box office on 2nd Tuesday (12th day) morning shows. As early samples are coming in it is showing a nominal drop from 2nd Monday when morning samples are compared. Now the film is heading towards a very good second week.
Housefull 4 opened to 13-14% occupancy in the morning shows. Samples are from multiplexes only. For the same 2nd Tuesday opening was 15-16%. It should see a good jump especially in the second half of the day.

Housefull 4 has collected 178 crore net approx in the first 11 days. Film is eyeing to go close to or touch 190 crore net mark by the end of the week. Film lifetime business is trending towards 210 crore net mark range and it will be more than enough to take it beyond Hit zone.

ReplyDeleteThis is going to be 192 Cr after 2nd week (trade - 187 Crores) giving it a 50+ Crore 2nd week collection. Not bad for a universally panned movie with the negativity that no movie probably ever saw before. The expectation was for it to fold up in less than 100 Cr. However, the haters went too overboard with their agenda & this likely awakened the Akkians from their slumber. This is the 1st time when Akshay Kumar fans turned up in hordes to defend their superstar. Hats off to the Youtuber Akkians who went out relentlessly shows after shows to capture public reaction & bring the real picture. These were the true warriors that made the difference between a 100 Cr disaster vs a 225 Cr potential Superhit now.
ReplyDeleteNow the next week, even though Bala is releasing HF4 should retain about 1400-1500 screens, enough to get it a 20+ Cr third week. Sand ki Aankh will lose about 400 Screens, Made in China will lose 300 screens, War will be out of cinema, Ujda Chaman & Terminator Dark Fate took away 2400 screeens & they would definitely lose atleast 1200 of those screens. So Bala will get about 2500-2700 screens which should be enough for it, afterall it isn't Saaho. HF4 is trending better than both Mission Mangal & War & when mission mangal can do a 15 Cr in Week 3 with 850 Screens, HF4 should definitely do 20+ Cr with 1500 screens. A 225+ Cr lifetime is definitely on.
