Bala is now simply unstoppable at the box office as it is marching towards a 100 crore net mark. The film has shown growth on day 5 (Tuesday) and is now heading towards a fabulous first week.
Bala collected 9.5 crore net approx on the 5th day. The film registered a jump of 15% from Monday. Tuesday was a partial holiday because of Guru Nanak Jayanti and film capitalized on that. Film total now stands at 61.7 crore net approx.
Bala first week business is all set to go past 70 crore net mark. In fact, it should add a few crores more after that. Bala is all set to emerge as a hit by the end of Wednesday (6th day). The film is on track to touch 100 crore net and also set to emerge as a super hit in India. If the film maintains good trending in weeks 2 and 3 then it has a chance of even attaining Blockbuster status.

ReplyDeleteNo 1: Akshay Kumar. He is on a roll. He is outsmarting, outthinking and outnumbering his competition. Over 550 Cr in 2019 and 700 Cr in last 12 months. One Blockbuster (Mission Mangal), Two Superhits (2point0 [Hindi], Housefull 4) One Hit (Kesari) and this is after series of clean hits from 2016.

No 2: Salman Khan – Bharat is a hit in 2019. He is fighting it back with his Eid announcement. His best days were from 2010-2016. Since then he is not able to match his best performance. Tubelight (2016 Eid), Race3 (2017 Eid) were average. Tiger Zinda Hai (2017, Christmas) was blockbuster. Enough to be at No 2 but not enough when the competition is bombarding HITs/Super Hits quarter after quarter.
No 3 Hrithik Roshan – Super30 is a hit and War a blockbuster. A good year after almost a decade. However this position might be short lived as Roshan has no movies in the horizon and competition from Ayushmaan and Ranveer is blazingly hot.
No 4 Ranveer Singh – Padmaavat, Simmba and Gully Boys has seen him to be at No 3 earlier. One more movie in 2019 would have surely helped Ranveer. However he will naturally climb up if competition fails to run. All eyes on ’83.
No 5 Ayushmaan Khurana – He edges past Ranbir, Tiger and Shahid with his fantastic array of hits/superhits. He is the star to watch out. His growth as actor and star has been the most amazing thing since last 2-3 years. Bala is a HIT. If it does 150 Cr+ then he will climb above Ranveer and become No 4.
