War First Day Box Office Collection Report, Smashes All Time Opening Record

War has simply put box office on fire 🔥🔥🔥 on the first day (Wednesday). The film has smashed all time opening record set by Thugs of Hindostan. This is done in much lesser screens.

War also in the process crossed 50 crore nett mark in a single day and become the second film ever to achieve this feat after TOH. Film has collected a historic 53.35 crore nett (All Languages) approx on day one. This is simply extraordinary stuff! 💥💥💥

War has registered an average occupancy of 80-82% for all throughout the day. Multiplexes were even better with 85-90% occupancy registered for day one. Single screens remained super strong all through the day with 70% plus occupancy.

Well begun is half done. In the case of War, it is more than well begun. And now it is more about hold and stability now. 

Yes, there will be a drop seen on Thursday (2nd day) as the film is coming off from a national holiday. It is the Friday drop which matters. Friday drop from Thursday should be absolutely minimal if the film wants to be among all time grossers list. Saturday and Sunday should pick up again as initial word of mouth are on the positive side. Anyways film has created history on day one and it is upto the extended weekend now.
