War 8th Day (2nd Wednesday) Collection Early Trends, Good Hold, Challenges 300 cr now!

War has shown good hold on 2nd Wednesday (8th day) at the box office as early trends for the day are coming in. Thus, the film is challenging magical 300 crore nett mark now. 275 crore nett mark looks a worst case scenario now. If the film shows a further strong hold on 2nd Friday then it should touch 300 crore mark in India. War is a Super Hit!

War has opened to 14-15% occupancy in the morning shows. Film showed jump in the noon and registered occupancy of 20%. Film has shown further growth from evening onward and as per latest registering an occupancy of 25-30%.

When samples of 2nd Wednesday (day 8) are compared to 1st Monday (day 6) then there is an occupancy drop of 40%. However, 2nd Wednesday ticket prices are slightly lower and hence business drop may be a little bit more than occupancy drop.

Occupancy Report of War for 2nd Wednesday (Samples only) -

Morning - 14-15% (Mon 20-25%)

Noon - 20% (Mon 30-35%)

Evening - 25-30% (Mon 45-50%)

The early trend suggests, War Eighth Day Business is trending towards 10.5-11 crore nett mark region. These are very early estimates. Thus, the film is certain to finish in double digit mark for the day. This is a very good hold considering the film is into 8th day itself and it already did huge business at the box office.

Kindly Note - Estimates are considered from very limited samples at this moment. Hence, the actual may vary accordingly.

War became the fifth film in history to collect 200 crore nett in a week after Sultan, Bahubali - The Conclusion, Tiger Zinda Hai and Sanju. Bahubali - The Conclusion remains way ahead and the Sultan figure is the record to beat if its a big holiday week. Bahubali - The Conclusion and Sanju have done it without a holiday week. Bahubali - the Conclusion had a partial holiday on Monday but with Sanju at 200 crore nett it means that the Sultan numbers can be beaten without a holiday week.

Before War no Hrithik Roshan or Tiger Shroff film had even crossed 125 crore nett in the first week. Salman Khan dominates the top first weeks with 7 of the top fifteen weeks including two films above the 200 crore nett mark. The top fifteen first week collections of all time are as follows.
    1. Bahubali - The Conclusion - 2,46,47,00,000
    2. Sultan - 2,08,99,00,000
    3. War - 2,06,50,00,000
    4. Tiger Zinda Hai - 2,06,04,00,000
    5. Sanju - 2,00,16,00,000
    6. Dangal - 1,92,38,00,000

    9. Dhoom 3 - 1,73,12,00,000
    10. Prem Ratan Dhan payo - 1,57,60,00,000

    1. BOI is one of the worst site when it comes to reporting collections. It has certain favourite actors and many un-favourite actors and Hrithik tops in their un-favourite list. You can cross-verify collection of all Hrithik movies and compare it with other websites.

  4. Guys nobody's jealous or hating but manipulation is taking the pee so much it has to be HR films
Kaabil was a really good movie but manipulations with the collections ruined it!!
