Made In China and Saand Ki Aankh First Day (Friday) Box Office Collection Report

Both new releases Made In China and Saand Ki Aankh had a horrible start to their respective box office campaign. Films collected poorly on day one. Yes, there is a pre-Diwali effect but again the numbers they collected are not justified. Hope film shows growth from here on otherwise it is all game over.

Made In China has collected 1.2 crore net approx on Friday. The film did register just 10% occupancy all through the day. Occupancy was even less in the morning and noon shows. This is shocking, to say the least. Hope film gathers momentum from day 2 onward. Word of mouth for the film is mixed.

Saand Ki Aankh has collected a disastrous 70 lakh net approx on Friday. Film registered a terrible 7-8% occupancy all through the day. Morning and noon show occupancy was 5% or little more than that. Just imagine how badly the film performed. However, the initial word of mouth of the film is on the positive side and let's hope that the film performs well in the coming days.

Both films will enjoy a national holiday on Monday and a partial holiday on Tuesday. But again, film has to survive till then. Friday suggests film may even struggle to go past beyond Sunday. This is a very shocking start to the Diwali box office period.

Made In China First Day Business - 1.2 crore net approx

Saand Ki Aankh First Day Business - 0.7 crore net approx
