Housefull 4 Advance Booking Report

Housefull 4 is getting released in the pre-Diwali period which is considered as a dull period at the box office. Diwali falls on Sunday and the day after Diwali is on Monday. 

Generally, the film strikes big on the day after Diwali when family audiences come out in numbers to enjoy a good time in theaters. In the case of Housefull 4, it is on 1st Monday. The post-Diwali period is fruitful and stays for 2-3 days at least. 

Means, we can expect good business on 1st Monday, 1st Tuesday and may be also on 1st Wednesday. But the problem in case of Housefull 4 is, this fruitful period falls on days 4, 5 and 6. By then word of mouth will spread like fire. Hence, it is of utmost importance that reports of Housefull 4 are on the positive side. If it is on the negative side then the film might fail to take full advance of the holiday period which is coming in the first weekdays.

Now coming to Advance Booking Report of Housefull 4. It is decent only. Yes, the pre-Diwali period is dull, but still, some films in the past have managed good advances in this period. Here, it is strictly decent. Yes, still a lot of time left till the first show and we expect advances to increase further.

From the samples we have at this moment, wherever advance booking for the film is started, around 16-17% of tickets are Sold Out for the first day. Even in a region where the pre-Diwali effect is minimal advances are strictly average. It is not great.

Still, the film can open big if films generate good spot booking tomorrow. Housefull 4 needs to collect at least 15 crore net for the opening day (1st Friday). Anything less will be a bit of shocking. Ideally, the film needs to touch 20 crore net as the film is carrying a hefty budget. Anything in the region of 20 crore net or more will be a fantastic start to the campaign.
