3. Mumbai Mirror -
Rating Score -> 3.5/5
Click this link for detailsThis one’s a Khanna show all the way. The actor with that lopsided smile manages to infuse his sharp legal counsel with the diction of a Literature professor. “The chain of custody has been blown to smithereens,” he booms with the passion of an elocution contest winner.
Rating Score -> 3.5/5
Click this link for detailsSection 375 does become predictable as it inches towards its end but that will not hamper your interest. It is a well-written film by Manish Gupta and there are no such glaring flaws to disappoint you. Having said that, remember, Section 375 doesn't give you that stereotypical dose of entertainment.
5. Sify -
Rating Score -> 3.5/5
Click this link for detailsSection 375 makes you do serious thinking about an important contemporary issue without getting preachy about it, and yet never slipping into the flippant mode. If anything, one hopes that the film will rejuvenate popular interest in the ongoing conversation about women's safety and laws pertaining to the subject.
6. Gulf News -
Rating Score -> 3.5/5
Click this link for detailsBollywood courtroom dramas have a history of being over-dramatic, but ‘Section 375’ distances itself from the oft-taken route. The movie is well-edited. The first half moves at a crisp pace, while the second half has enough twists to keep you invested in the drama.
7. Glamsham -
Rating Score -> 4/5
Click this link for detailsJustice may be abstract but SECTION 375 has all the potential to create a huge impact in Bollywood courtroom dramas on sexual crimes. Intensely powerful, well etched, relevant with top notch performance, SECTION 375 is disturbing but a demanding watch. Missing it will be a crime.
8. News 18 -
Rating Score -> 3/5
Click this link for detailsFor most part if it, Section 375 keeps you confused about the possible outcome of the case, and that’s a moral victory Bahl can claim. But then he takes a stand and dilutes the whole idea of being an unbiased presenter of facts of a rape case.
9. Mid-day -
Rating Score -> 4/5
Click this link for detailsSection 375 is a crackling film that delves into the subject wisely, talking of issues that we are only happy to brush under our carpets and bury in our closets. It’s by far one of 2019’s best film and I recommend you give this one a dekko for sure.
10. Bollywood Bubble -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
Click this link for detailsOverall, ‘Section 375’ is a ONE-TIME watch. The film will leave you with questions in your mind and will induce you to talk about the law and make your own judgment of whether or not justice has been done.
11. Komal Nahta -
Rating Score -> N/A
Click this link for detailsAkshaye Khanna does an absolutely fantastic job as advocate Tarun Saluja. He slips into the character and delivers a lovely performance. Richa Chadha is good as public prosecutor Hiral Gandhi. She gives her character respectability. On the whole, Section 375 will be liked by its target audience viz. the classes and the elite audience. It will, therefore, do well in the good multiplexes of the big cities.
Lol looks like another surprise package. 2019 has been a year of mid card movies
