Section 375 has started slowly on Friday (1st day) morning shows at the box office. Film occupancy level remains low at noon shows also. However, the film received positive word of mouth from all corner and thus it registered decent to good occupancy in evening and night time.
Section 375 has collected a decent 1.45 crore nett on day one. The film is released in limited screens which are around 750 across India. In screen fight, it is behind Dream Girl and already running Chhichhore. Collections for day one is decent considering the film budget, face value and screen count.
Film has a good chance to register growth on Saturday (day 2) and further growth on Sunday (day 3). I fact, the film may double the numbers from Friday. A 70-80% growth is for taken considering the positive word of mouth film has received. Don't be surprised if film registers 100% jump.
Section 375 might have taken a slow start at the ticket counters. However, film can fightback strong if it shows big jump through the opening weekend. It will be great if the film can go close to 8 crore nett for the opening weekend. If it goes anywhere near that and shows good hold on 1st Monday then it can also emerge as a surprise HIT in the long run.
