Dream Girl vs Chhichhore vs Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas vs The Zoya Factor vs Prassthanam Screen Count as on 20 September 2019

New releases (Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, The Zoya Factor and Prassthanam) this week has managed to get fractured release all over India as holdover releases Dream Girl and Chhichhore are still ruling the box office.

In fact, Dream Girl has retained most of the screens for the second week running. Film has retained very good 1600 screens in week 2. It means the film can again rock big at the box office. No doubt film will aim to go beyond 100 crore nett inside week two.

Chhichhore despite entering the third week has managed to retain excellent screening. Film has retained a fantastic 1100 screens. There is simply no doubt that film will now truly challenge 150 crore nett mark.

Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas has managed a decent 1000-1025 screens for the first week. Definitely, film needed more screens and ideal number would have been close to 1500. But again seeing multiple releases and strong holdovers screen count is not that bad. The only issue is whether the film can attract audiences or not.

The Zoya Factor has become the first major victim of this screen count fight. Film has managed most of the screens in metros and big cities. It has hardly got any screens in the interiors. Film has managed just 800 screens approx across India which is much lower than ideal number. Ideally, the film needed 1300-1500 screens to have an impact. Now only good word of mouth can save the film.

Prassthanam is also another big loser of screen count fight. Film has hardly managed good screening in metros and big cities. It is the interiors which are the savior of the film. The film overall has managed 850 screens at the box office.

Screen Count details as on 20 September 2019

Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas (New Release) - 1000-1025

The Zoya Factor (New Release) - 800
