Dream Girl has taken a bumper start at the box office on Sunday (3rd day) morning shows. A huge day is definitely on cards now. Film should perform to the optimum level in the day time today. Saturday box office numbers are already in the upper level and even if there is growth it will not be huge. Question is whether the film can touch 20 crore nett for the day.
Dream Girl opened to 58-60% occupancy in the morning shows today. Samples are from multiplexes only. For the same Saturday opening was 48%.
Dream Girl first weekend business is trending towards 45-47 crore nett mark depending on the further growth film registers today. Monday hold will determine whether film can touch 100 crore nett in India or not. The initial trend suggests film should emerge as a big hit at the box office. We are only awaiting for Monday confirmation now.
