Chhichhore has taken a decent start at the box office on opening Friday (first day) as early samples for Morning shows are coming in. The start is neither bad nor good. It is in between. Film needs to show further jump in the later half of the day if it aims to have a respectable total for day one now.
Chhichhore opened to 15-20% occupancy in the morning shows today. Samples are from multiplexes only. Single screens just started and reports are awaited.
Going by the advance booking of the film it is certain that film had to depend on audience word of mouth now. Critic's word of mouth is on the positive side. That is good news. But again critics reviews hardly matter. What matters is the feedback of theater going audiences.
Chhichhore has managed good screening at the box office and if film reports are positive then film can show good occupancy from Friday evening onward and all through Saturday and Sunday.
