Saaho Hindi version has hold exceptionally well on Saturday (2nd day) at the box office as early trends for the day is coming in. Thus, film is poised to be Smash HIT atleast in the Hindi version despite receiving negative to mixed reviews from the critics.
Critics of today have become a joke who has zero pulse and knowledge of theater going audiences. They criticize movies left and right and that film goes onto become a Smash Hit at the box office. No doubt audiences nowadays hardly care for critics and their reviews.
Saaho business so far also proves that Prabhas is a Pan India star. He is also critic proof now. Whether film receives good or bad review his film will open big no matter what.
Now coming to the occupancy report for Saturday. Below occupancy of Saturday is given. When we compare samples of Saturday with Friday then the occupancy level is the same. Multiplexes show marginal growth whereas Single screen registered nominal drop or so. Overall it is same.

Morning - 45% (Friday - 45%)
Noon - 50-55% (Friday - 50%)
Evening-Night - 70-75% (Friday - 75%)
Evening-Night - 70-75% (Friday - 75%)
The early trend suggests Saaho second day collection is trending towards 22-24 crore nett mark. This is terrific again. Night shows are just started and major reports from interiors are awaited. Hence final count may vary.

ReplyDeleteI think Adda you have lost your kind first time. This movie will struggle to cross 100cr. The monday will be terrible, critics can be wrong but komal nhi nahta never goes wrong. It needs to do 125 atleast to be a hit.

Thugs did 40+ with bad wom too and so many others movies. On Saturday a movie business has to go up unless it does 30+ on friday. Saaho will do bit low thn friday. Sunday will be same.
