Mission Mangal Wednesday (7th Day) Collection Update for Morning Shows

Mission Mangal has as expected taken a slow start in the morning shows on 1st Wednesday (7th day) as early samples are coming in. This is expected as film is bound to see the best occupancy in evening and night time. This has been the norm so far.

Mission Mangal opens to 12-13% occupancy in morning shows today. Samples are from multiplexes only. For the same samples, Tuesday occupancy was 13-14%. It looks like we have a steady Wednesday is on cards now.

Occupancy Report for Morning Shows -

Monday - 12-13%

Tuesday - 13-14%

Monday - 15%

Sunday -> 60%

Saturday -> 39-40%

Friday -> 21-22%

Thursday -> 45-50%

Mission Mangal has collected 114+ crore nett in first 6 days. Extended First Week (8 days) is heading towards 126-127 crore nett mark. Film is certain to touch 150 crore nett in coming days. Question is whether the film can challenge 175 crore mark? 200 crore nett mark looks out of reach now unless film shows miraculous trending from here on.

  1. As long as akki keeps on doing 4 movies a year and none of them being commercial or for pan india audience 200 figure will be tough.his movies are targetted only to multiplex audience n his core mass following has nt really supporting his movies.its really tough to get audience 4 times a year.but still he is able to get that 150 crs odd numbers which is quite an achievement.anyways slowly the numbers are increasing n with housefull4 and sooryavanshi he may get that much needed 200 crs grosser under his kitty.

  6. With 4 movies a year, if this one does 165 crores it is a very succesful outcome

    Just remember you can't expect audience to watch 4 movies of same star

    150 crores for Kesari and 165 crores for Mission Mangal is a very good outcome...If HF4 does 130 crores and Sooryavanshi does 200 crores Akki is on a roll

    Also remember this is Akki's 10th hit in a row...his last outright flop was Brothers long back and since than he has given major hits airlift rustom gold kesari hf3 padman tepk jolly llb2 and 2.0

    Mission Mangal is 10th in row - no one has such a success ratio and he didnt take 10 years to give 10 hits all these have been delivered in less than 5 years

  7. For a film like this....on a genre like this to even be made is suprising.. and to recover the budget is a big thing... but the way it has collected is mind boggling...
