The big battle at the box office India begins this Independence Day as two big films respectively Mission Mangal and Batla House release in theaters. Both films are big in their own respect and it will be a fascinating battle to watch out.
Mission Mangal stars Akshay Kumar in lead role and obviously because of that film has managed very good screening all across India despite a clash. The film has managed 3200-3300 screens as if now and the final count may also increase. This is more than enough to create havoc in theaters.
Batla House may have come second as far as screen count is concerned but again has got more than enough screens considering its face value. Film stars John Abraham in the lead role. Batla House has managed 2300-2400 screens in India as if now. Again, the final count can increase.
As Independence Day is a National Holiday and we might see record breaking stuff at the box office. The combined business of Mission Mangal and Batla House is certain to cross 40 crore nett mark on 15th August. But there is a possibility that the combined business may also cross 50 crore nett mark. If that happens it will be early Diwali for both exhibitors and distributors. Buzz of the film is good for both films.
