Mission Mangal Thursday (1st Day) Collection Update for Morning, Very Good Start!

Mission Mangal has taken a very good start at the box office India on opening day (1st Thursday) as early samples for Morning shows are coming in. Film is enjoying the Independence Day holiday today and we expect business to grow big in noon and afternoon shows. Morning show occupancy is just the trailer. Film is bound to grow from here on.

Mission Mangal has opened to 45-50% occupancy in the morning today. Samples are from multiplexes only. The film has open better in metros and big cities whereas opening is a bit lower in B and C centers. In big cities, opening is as high as 60% or above. However, in B and C centers opening is 30-35%. 

If Mission Mangal aims to put up a huge first day total then it has to show a big jump in interiors also. Big cities business will take the film to a healthy first day total. But if film needs a massive day one total then B and C centers need to come to the party. The overall start of the film is very good.

Initial critics word of mouth is on the positive side. This should help the film cause. But again the real word of mouth is of theater going audiences. If that is also on the positive side then there is simply no stopping for this film.
