Mission Mangal has taken a fantastic start at the box office on Saturday (3rd day) as early samples for Morning shows are coming in. Film start is better than Friday and we expect a huge day at box office today. Thus, the film is a Smash HIT and question is whether the film will be a HIT or Super HIT or Blockbuster!
Mission Mangal opened to 39-40% occupancy in morning shows today. The opening is much ahead of Friday and a little bit below Thursday but again Thursday was a National Holiday. Start suggest film is on track to collect 20 crore nett or more for the day. Question is whether film can touch 25 crores or not for the day.
Occupancy Report for Morning Shows -
Saturday -> 39-40%
Friday -> 21-22%
Friday -> 21-22%
Thursday -> 45-50%
Mission Mangal has collected 45+ crore nett in the first two days. Film is on track to collect 85-90 crore nett in the extended first weekend. If film shows good to very good jump then numbers could be even higher.
Film is carrying positive word of mouth from all around and it should help the film in the long run. Lifetime collection is very hard to predict at this moment. But going by the initial trend film is on track to collect in excess of 150 crore nett in India. 1st Monday will give us a clear idea.
