Batla House has shown a solid hold on Tuesday (6th day) at the box office. Film remains rock solid and reported a drop of just 5% or so. This augurs well for rest of the weekdays now. The film is riding on positive word of mouth and it is showing in the business now.
Batla House has added 4.75 crore nett on day 6. Fim total currently stands at 57.7 crore nett. Extended first week (8 days) business is heading towards a very respectable 65-66 crore nett mark.
Film lifetime business is heading towards 80-85 crore nett. All depends on the hold on 2nd Friday. If the hold is strong, the film can go beyond also. A decent to good hold on 2nd Friday will ensure film a HIT at the box office.

So the producer continues to report the daily collection figures with the addition of 12% GST of his own. Yet, I don't seen this touching even 90 crores.

ReplyDeleteFYI, Movie is already a Hit as it is made at a budget less than 40 cr. If it cross 80 crore, it is Super Hit which is most likely and it can even cross 100 cr. Mission Mangal is higher in budget with more number of screens, atleast 1000 screens more, so it is dumb comparison between two. Both movies stand Super Hit, but biased reporting is trying to bring down this movie by comparing collection with MM.
Seems the producer has directly dropped in to defend his movie
