As this Monday is day 5, not usual day 4, a drop of this magnitude is very much acceptable. Monday hold gives the film a chance to emerge as a HIT in the coming days.
Batla House has added 5 crore nett approx on day 5. Film total thus stands at 52.95 crore nett approx. Monday hold suggests film should collect in excess of 60 crore nett by the end of the extended first week.
After Monday box office result, it is looking like Batla House lifetime collection is trending towards 80 crore nett mark. 2nd Friday will determine whether film lifetime business will wrap up under 80 or go beyond that.
