Super 30 5th Day (Tuesday) Collection Early Trends, Solid Hold

Super 30 is showing solid hold on Tuesday (5th day) at box office as early trends for the day is coming in. If we compare the samples of Tuesday with Monday then there is hardly any drop. In fact occupancy is near similar and even better at few places.

Super 30 occupancy detail for Tuesday is given below. Monday occupancy report is also provided in bracket just for comparison. Occupancy level is exactly similar. At places there is little drop and at others there is jump.

Occupancy Report for Tuesday (Samples only) -

Morning - 14% (Mon - 15%)

Noon - 19% (Mon - 18%)

Evening - 35-40% (Mon - 37%)

Early trends suggest, Super 30 Fifth Day Collection is trending towards 6-7 crore nett mark. There is still night shows left for the day and also major reports from interiors are awaited. Hence final count may go higher or lower also depending on these factors.

As far as chasing Monday numbers. Film is on track to challenge Monday collection on day 5. If night shows perform well and interiors hold well then actual may come close or even higher than Monday. Trending of the film is good and it is on track to touch or go beyond 100 crore nett mark in India. Tuesday hold also suggest film is on track to emerge as a HIT at box office unless things go wrong from here on.

Kindly Note - Estimates are considered from very limited samples at this moment. Hence, actual may vary accordingly.

  2. What is the budget of super 30 inclusive of print cost? How can it attain hit status merely at 100 crore? The budget of article 25 is 25 crore with printing cost and it is not even declared a hit at 60 crore... What is your economic yardstick for a film to be hit?

    1. Hi,
Super30's budget is 90 crores including Hritik's fee of 35 crores plus printing and advertizing cost of 25 crores takes its total cost to 115 crores.
So in order to be a hit it will have to cross that mark. It will be considered a hit if it walks past 120 crore.
