The film pushes the envelope as a dark, psychological whodunit, with a social message weaved in that can’t be ignored. The film treads into a zone where Bollywood has rarely been, and just for that, it deserves applause.

This film’s trailer can throw some off. It projects this one as a police procedural where the two prime suspects have conflicting narratives to a murder. But while this one hardly delivers as a nail-biting thriller, the dash of wry humour that laces the proceedings makes the film’s two-hour-long runtime just about sufferable.
