1. Taran Adarsh -
Rating Score -> 4/5
Click this link for detailsAn emotional journey that wins you over... Salman is the lifeline. He’s exceptional... Katrina excels... Ali Abbas Zafar blends humour + emotions wonderfully... Slight trimming needed... Get ready for #Salmania.

Rating Score -> 3.5/5
Click this link for detailsWhile emotional manipulation happens in every film, the fact that it’s evident here makes it a tad overbearing. The reverence is blatant. A little subtlety and crisp editing would have done wonders. Bharat is well-intentioned, entertaining and doesn’t succumb to the trappings of commercial potboilers. The fact that it tries a bit too hard to prove that, is its problem.
3. Mid-Day -
Rating Score -> 3/5
Click this link for detailsBharat is not a patriotic or a jingoistic film, it has all the elements required to make a full-fledged masala pot-boiler. With some age-old ideologies sprinkled with newness, Salman Khan's Eidi will entertain the audience. Since it's an Eid release, we did miss the flavour of the festival in Bharat. With supporting casts such as Sonali Kulkarni, Aasif Sheikh, and a few others, the film is definitely a family entertainer.
4. Mumbai Mirror -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
Click this link for detailsIn recent years, we have seen the mighty Khans topple at the box office. After all, formulaic plots and tested tropes have barely kept up with evolving tastes. But in this unpredictable world of Hindi cinema, Salman Khan’s shirtless presence, undisputed swag and cocky one-liners was all it took to slip into that elusive 10-digit club. But in and as Bharat, even he cracks under the lightness of a wafer-thin plot and a fickle and forced attempt at leaning on patriotism.
5. Bollywood Bubble -
Rating Score -> 4/5
Click this link for detailsIn the course of the movie, Bharat’s daredevilry and his pure heart wins him a lot of admirers and establishes him as a true blue Bollywood hero. A lot of credit must go to Ali Abbas Zafar who knows the pulse of the audience and gives them just the right dose of Entertainment. Sunil Grover as Vilayati delivers a winning performance too and you hope that this film will pave the way for his long innings in Bollywood. Katrina Kaif as Kumud Raina/Madam Sir is spot on and perfect for the part.
6. Latestly -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
Click this link for detailsBharat's strengths lie in its emotional scenes, Salman Khan's swag-ado and Katrina Kaif's confident screen-presence. And unless you are a Bhai fan, you have a lot to nitpick with the rest of the film. Quite an improvement from Salman's last release, Race 3, and yet, Bharat could have been a much more well-knitted emotional saga than what we really get to see here!
Rating Score -> 3.5/5
Click this link for detailsBharat delivers it's promise of being an emotional entertainer. Fans who want to see Salman reinvent his superstar image with a solid storyline will be pleased with Bharat.
8. India Forums -
Rating Score -> 4/5
Click this link for detailsPerfect music at the right time, but the film is bit too lengthy i.e 3 hours. But if you want to get entertained and watch the finest story in mainstream Bollywood then it's worth your time. Bharat will be a super treat for the fans. A must watch.
9. Glamsham -
Rating Score -> 4/5
Click this link for detailsSalman Khan’s BHARAT could have been a masterpiece if it was served with some reality but still this grand Eid bonanza starring superstar Salman Khan is an emotionally touching ode to a good human, true Indian, fatherhood, brotherhood, peace, harmony, good virtues, family and how all these when come together can make a great nation. Amidst all the comedy, the serious message does come out and that’s what makes this BHARAT, the BHARAT every true Indian wants from heart. Going with 4 stars extra for Salman Khan in a never before seen avatar, good virtues and festival mood.

Click this link for detailsAfter disappointing fans with his last two Eid releases - Race 3 and Tubelight - Salman Khan returns with an emotional entertainer in Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat. The movie is about a 70-year-old man Bharat (Salman Khan), who takes us through an incredible journey of his colourful life and that of the country he is named after - Bharat aka India. From 1947 to 2010, we meet a hoard of characters - from his childhood best friend Vilayati (Sunil Grover), his father (Jackie Shroff), his mother (Sonali Kulkarni) to the love of his life - Madam Sir aka Kumud (Katrina Kaif) and many more.
11. Indian Express -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
Click this link for detailsYes, it’s hard to believe that a 70-year-old can beat off four menacing young men bent upon making mincemeat of him. But then this IS a Bhai movie. He staggers, but is the last man standing. But of course. He may have fixed a grey beard to his chin, but his chest still ripples. What else? In a Salman Khan movie, anything is possible, even tall tales that can transcend borders.

Rating Score -> 3/5
Click this link for detailsA lot like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Salman emerges as an advocate for peace between India and Pakistan. A long drawn out sequence underlines how both the countries lost their own identities during the Partition, and how wounds are far from healed may feel manipulative, but it works – I witnessed more than one person wiping away a tear. That is where Bharat and Zafar score. Despite knowing what the film is trying to do, in some cases easily guessing plot turns in advance, you cannot help but enjoy it. This one is an Eid winner. Bhai just got his mojo back.
14. Masala -
Rating Score -> 4/5
Click this link for detailsAll in all, Bharat is a film that is full of great messages but isn’t preachy. It’s patriotic but not overbearing. It’s dramatic but not over the top. It’s hilarious at just the right points, it doesn’t take itself seriously enough to become a bore and it hits you in the gut if you’ve got a story you can connect with partition. Bharat is the quintessential Bhai film that combines big budget and big stories and makes an enjoyable feature length film. It’s no Avengers: Endgame but it is definitely one of the best Bollywood films to come out this year.
15. India TV -
Rating Score -> 3.5/5
Click this link for detailsSalman Khan’s movie Bharat revolves around several aspects of life and those unnoticed things which make it beautiful. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat talks about ‘change, hope and positivity’ required in this journey called life. While Salman is at the center-stage of this drama, Sunil Grover raises the bar for himself and Katrina Kaif yet again impresses us with her grace. Bharat is a good amalgamation of emotions and humour with tadka of Salman Khan-moments. Overall, the movie has its heart at the right place and is indeed, 'Journey of a man and a nation together'.

17. NDTV -
Rating Score -> 2/5
Click this link for detailsThe actor-director firm of Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar has two smash hits in their kitty - Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. Bharat, their third collaboration, is probably more ambitious than the first two outings in so much as the demands it makes on Salman the actor while drawing strength principally from Salman the star. In the end, it doesn't matter who wins - the actor or the star - Bharat is a full-on crowd-pleaser for the massive fan base out there seeking recompense for the Tubelight and Race 3 reverses. But for the rest, Bharat could prove to be a ponderous trudge.
18. Komal Nahta -
Rating Score -> N/A
Click this link for detailsOn the whole, Bharat is below-average in merits but it will do above-average business because of the Eid advantage and the Salman Khan factor. At the box office, it will not at all be able to become a landmark film like some of Salman Khan’s and Ali Abbas Zafar’s earlier films. In other words, its business at the ticket windows will fall greatly short of the high expectations.

ReplyDeleteAverage movie bharat disappointed
ReplyDeleteThought it would be better than this. Still it has possibility to cross 250 Crores far better than TOH or Race 3
ReplyDeleteMaza a gya bajrangi Bhaijaan ke bad Bharat 2nd movie h jo itni zyaada acchi lagi h Mujhe. Bharat movie ko 400cr par krni chahiye, Kyoki jab foreign ki movie 370cr+ kr skti h to Indian movie plus big star ki movie ko to zarur krni chahiye.
ReplyDeleteLol... Another average movie from the Khans. Time for them to retire.

ReplyDeleteBusiness is 42 to 44 crore. All critics going to bite the dust
After monday it will slow down
ReplyDeleteBharat is a super flop movie.dont go with fake news that its hit doing 150 crores business even if it does a business of 250 crores it's a big flop as Salman movies are big budget made for minimum 125-150 crores so if it does business of 300 crores it can be considered average hit..no profit no loss.only chance for recovery of this movie is to reduce Salman's remuneration to 5 crores & that will happen soon as most his films are flop & producers & distributors have to suffer heavy losses after paying him heavy fees of 50-100 crores.salman's stardom is over now..
ReplyDeleteWorst movie of the year award can be given...
ReplyDeleteOnly movies starring ranvir-ranbir..akshay-ajay & aamir can be made with mega budgets...why are producers &distributors wasting their money on flop actors...
ReplyDeletePata ni movie Dekhi b hai ya ni
