Bharat is registering a drop of 15-20% on 2nd Thursday (9th day) at box office as early trends for the day is coming in. Drop is bit bigger than normal. That is not a good sign. Again there is a cricket match scheduled for the day which might have made some dent. But again that cricket match is a washout without any play. So dent may not be significant.
Bharat opened to around 10% occupancy in morning shows. Film showed marginal jump in noon time to register occupancy of around 14-15%. Film did pick up from evening onward and as per latest recording an occupancy of 25%.
Morning - 10% (2nd Wed - 12%)
Noon - 14-15% (2nd Wed - 18%)
Evening-Night - 25% (2nd Wed - 30%)
Film is registering bigger drop in interiors as compared to big cities and metros. That may continue for 2nd Thursday also. Bharat 9th day collection is trending towards 5.5 crore nett mark. These are very early estimates from the limited samples we have at this moment. Bharat extended first week (9th day) total is trending towards 179.5-180 crore nett region.
Film needs to stay strong on 2nd Friday if it entitles any hope to go past 200 crore nett in India. A big drop on 2nd Friday means film might struggle even to touch 200 crore nett in India.

ReplyDeleteBharat is a movie with no logic and it's very senseless film. Only comedy is good, even it's not the 100 crore level film. Big disappointment.
