De De Pyaar De had a respectable first week at box office. Film although started slowly on Friday recovered lost ground from Saturday onward. Film trending is fantastic all through the week one. 2nd Week is now crucial and hope film lands strong on 2nd Friday.
DDPD has added 4.5 crore nett approx on day 7 (Thursday). Drop from day 6 is 22% which is significant. But again there was election results which affected the business. Hope film recovers well on 2nd Friday.
DDPD needs a drop of 30% or less on 2nd Friday. Anything more will be alarming. Film has now good chance of emerging as a HIT. Film also has a chance of touching 100 crore nett in India but has to trend excellent from here on. Film will fight it out with two new significant releases in India's Most Wanted and PM Narendra Modi.
