Yes, we are updated that Ajay Devgn has signed another film titled Bhuj: The Pride Of India. The story revolves around the life of Vijay Karnik, a brave IAF squadron leader who served India during the time of the Indo-Pak war in 1971. Karnik along with 300 women from the nearby villages of Bhuj got together to reconstruct a demolished Indian Air Force airstrip at Bhuj. This served as a great act of valor that helped India during the time of war and Karnik and the entire women is really applauded for this act.
Now, the recent report is that the cast members has been selected. Along with Ajay playing the role of Vijay Karnik, a brave IAF squadron leader, the other cast members are roped in are Parineeti Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha, Rana Daggubati, Sanjay Dutt and Ammy Virk.
Sanjay Dutt will play the role of Ranchordas Svabhai Ravari who helped in decoding the army in decoding the footprints of the enemy. Sonakshi Sinha will play the role of Sunderben Jetha Madharparya, a social worker and a farmer activist who influenced the other 299 women to build the airstrip at Bhuj. Rana Daggubati plays a colonel and Parineeti Chopra will portray the role of an Indian spy Heena Rehman. Ammy Virk plays a fighter pilot.
The film will be written-directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya, and produced by Ginny Khanuja, Vajir Singh, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Abhishek Dudhaiya.
