Alia Bhatt roped in to play the story of Arunima Sinha: world’s first woman amputee to scale Mount Everest

Alia Bhatt, without a doubt has scaled height in Bollywood today. With a combination of brave choices and consistent impressive performances has taken her to a different level.

Now, the latest news about her is that Alia has been roped in to play the biopic of was the world’s first woman amputee to scale the Mount Everest. She is Arunima Sinha. The story will be based on Sinha’s book titled ‘Born Again On The Mountain: A Story of Losing Everything And Finding It Back’.

According to reports, Alia will be required to gain weight and undergo intense training for the film. The scripting is still on the process and is developing. Masaan fame Neeraj Ghaywan will star in the film too.

Vivek Rangachari of Dar Motion Pictures and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions will be jointly producing this biopic. Other details of the film is expected to come out soon.

Alia has also a number of projects lined up. They are Abhishek Varman’s period drama ‘Kalank, Karan Johar’s next directorial venture and a historical drama ‘Takht’ and also a sequel to her father's crime film ‘Sadak’.
