Ajay Devgn signs up for “Bhuj: The Pride Of India”; to play an IAF squadron leader

Ajay Devgn without any doubt is on a roll.  With his ongoing work on Tanhaji, he is already gearing up to play the biopic of Syed Abdul Rahim, who served as India’s football coach from 1950 to 1963.

Now, the newest update is that Ajay has signed another film. This is a real life a war incident film titled Bhuj: The Pride Of India.

Ajay Devgn confirm this news via a tweet -

The story revolves around the life of Vijay Karnik, a brave IAF squadron leader who served India during the time of the Indo-Pak war in 1971. Karnik along with 300 women from the nearby villages of Bhuj got together to reconstruct a demolished Indian Air Force airstrip at Bhuj. This served as a great act of valor that helped India during the time of war and Karnik and the entire women is really applauded for this act. 

The film will be helmed by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series and Ginny Khanuja of Select Media Holdings LLP. The movie will be written-directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya, and produced by Ginny Khanuja, Vajir Singh, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Abhishek Dudhaiya.

Reports are that the film will go on floors soon. Stay tuned for further details.
