URI - The Surgical Strike 7th Friday Box Office Collection, Historic Again!

URI - The Surgical Strike has taken a historic start at box office on 7th Friday. Film registered a minuscule drop of just 20-25% from 6th Thursday. Hold is excellent again. Film is literally not affected by big release in Total Dhamaal.

URI added an approx 75 lakh nett on day 43. Film total collection thus stands at approx 231.4 crore nett. Film trending so far suggest, URI should collect in around 3.5-4 crore nett for the weekend. Week collection should be 6-7 crore mark.

Superb hold on 7th Friday ensures that URI will certainly cross 240 crore mark and also Simmba in coming days. As for 250 crore mark. That is still a possibility. Current trending suggest film lifetime collection is heading towards 245 crore mark.

Collection Breakup

Week 1 -> 71.25 crore nett

Week 2 -> 62.75 crore nett

Week 3 -> 37.05 crore nett

Week 4 -> 29.3 crore nett

Week 5 -> 18.75 crore nett

Week 6 -> 11.55 crore nett

Week 7 -

Fri -> 0.75 crore nett

Total -> 231.4 crore nett approx

Verdict -> Blockbuster

  1. So a film heading towards lifetime of 245 crores is not an ATBB....we all have reached one conclusion today that Ankur is one of the most biased trade person we have today. Benchmark for URI is very different...movies thrice budget of URI dont even cross 200 crores while URI is bigger than all Ajay, Akshay, Hrithik, Srk films...It is bigger than many films of Salman too...In fact URI will be 10th biggest by collections, best by ROI and best trending ever yet no ATBB ? Lot of justification is needed

    1. Agree . This should a ATBB. Ankur seems to be biased towards Salman and SRK. Pity

  2. This site is average to say the least!!! Timepass

    1. If you say so. But find one other site which provides such possonate feedback on movies in India

    2. Doesn’t matter as they are biased
