Evening-Night - 35% (Wed - 40%)

Gully Boy 8th day business is trending towards 5-5.5 crore nett mark. These are early estimates from very limited samples. Final count will be higher or lower depending on how film performs in rest of the shows left for the day and also on major interior reports which are awaited at this moment

  1. Lifetime collections will be close to 140 cr as I had earlier predicted and its a clean and healthy hit as its been appreciated by all and wipl end up as a cult classic for the music lovers

  2. Gully boy would have been a decent earner even with 80 crore plus in its lifetime considering the genre and director... but it's Ranveer stardom which gave it the extra push to cross 100 crore plus in week 1 itslef...anything over 120 cr means it's a good success and 100 cr in itself has made it a decent success with overseas also at 42 cr currently and will probably end up collecting around 75 crores from overseas.

However, releasing film a day earlier on the Valentine's day proved to be a dark horse decision which paid it's dividends..

  3. I wanted it to cross 100 crores so as to shut mouth of Srk fans who were commenting that Gully Boy will prove if Ranveer has it did better than most srk films in recent years Fan Zero and JHMS....
