URI -The Surgical Strike has shown fabulous hold on 3rd Friday (15th day) at box office despite facing big opposition in Manikarnika and Thackeray. A lifetime mark of 175 crore is now taken and film may even challenge 200 crore mark in India.
URI has collected an approx 4.4 crore nett on day 15. Drop from 2nd Thursday is just around 15%. This is extra-ordinary hold despite big reduction in screening. Film total collection currently stands at approx 138.15 crore nett.
Now film will enjoy Republic day holiday weekend and should touch 150 crore nett inside 3rd weekend. There may be big jump on Saturday which may be in the region of nearly 100% and that because of National Holiday. Film should collect in excess of 20 crore nett for the weekend now.

Wow if URI touches 200 crores than one thing is for sure box office has grown leaps and bounds and appetite is there it’s just that indian customers want quality stuff

I really feel time has come for young actors to command best release dates
