Switching to films, Ranveer will next star in ‘Gully Boy’ alongside Alia Bhatt. The cast of the film also includes Kalki Koechlin, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Vijay Raaz, Amruta Subhash and Vijay Verma.

‘Gully boy’is the inspired story of a rapper hailing from Dahravi, Mumbai. Vivian Fernandes aka Divine and Naved Shaikh aka Naezy are known for their song "Mere Gully Mein" in Mumbai.

The film will be released on 14th February, 2019.
