Manikarnika 1st Day (Friday) Collection Early Trends, gains momentum from Evening onward!

Manikarnika gains momentum and pick up well from evening show onwards on day one and thus is now trending towards a decent first day (Friday) total.

Opening of Manikarnika is bit alarming as film started to low occupancy. Even noon shows remained in lower level. However, film has shown big growth from evening and film is recovering ground now. Hope this momentum carries on for night shows also.

Manikarnika is simply not an another Kangana Ranaut film. It is carrying big budget and need big theatrical return just to recover the huge investment. Hence, only word of mouth will not do for the film. Film needs to collect strong in the opening weekend which is getting boosted by Republic day holiday on Saturday.

Manikarnika opened to around 20% occupancy in morning shows. Film showed limited jump in noon to register occupancy of around 25-30%. Occupancy has multiplied from evening onward and as per latest reporting an occupancy of 50-55%.

Morning -> 20%

Noon -> 25-30%

Evening -> 50-55%

Till afternoon it was looking as if film first day is heading towards anywhere between 6-8 crore nett mark. But big pick up from evening onward means, now film is gunning for 9-10 crore nett mark. If film keeps the same growth in night shows, then film should breach double digit mark for the day. There are chances that it may miss the double digit mark but evening growth has ensured that film will remain close to it. Now film needs huge pick up in Saturday and Sunday to post a healthy total for the weekend.

Stay tuned for more updates on Manikarnika!
