Final shooting schedule of ‘Bharat’ starts today

One of the biggest festive releases to grace on Eid this year, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Bharat’ is heading towards the final shooting schedule today.

Director Ali Abbas Zafar tweets:

Last shooting schedule of @Bharat_TheFilm begins today .... Ab Eid door Nahin  :)

The film was majorly shot at places like Abu Dhabi, Malta, Delhi and Punjab. Now, the last schedule is scheduled to take place at Mumbai.  Salman, Katrina and Sunil Grover will be part of this 26-days long schedule.

The story of the film spans over a period of 70 years and has many historical references and so it requires a lot of VFX work. Also, the film will portray Salman in his late 20s and so the makers are using age-reduction technique. This is a complex process and needs a longer time.

The film is a heavily depended on VFX and so a lot of time is needed for post production.

Along with Salman and Katrina, ‘Bharat’ also stars Tabu and Disha Patani.

  2. Bharat will have to be a classic like Bajrangi bhaijaan because it is clashing with cricket world cup.tentative release date is 5 June on Eid but same day India will play his 1st match of World Cup. Let's see how it can take advantage of Eid.it will face competition in every 3-4 days when India's match is scheduled.

  4. Looks like Bhai is once again stepping out of his comfort zone. If this is good then he might end up with another Bajarangi Bhaijaan otherwise, tubelight fuss.
