Ananya will star alongside Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria, the latter who is another debutante, in the sequel of the romantic comedy film Student of the year.

Student of the Year prequel kick started the careers of Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, who were playing the lead roles. The sequel is surely going to be a big break for both the debutants, Ananya and Tara. 

Student of the Year 2 is directed by Punit Malhotra. The film is distributed by Fox Star Studios and produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the banner of Dharma Productions. It is set to release on 10th May, 2019.
