Vaani made her acting debut in 2013, starring alongside Parineeti Chopra and Sushant Singh Rajput in the film ‘Shuddh Desi Romance.’ Her performance won her the Best Female Debut at the 59th Filmfare Awards.

In 2014, she ventured into the South Indian film industry.

Then in 2016, she appeared in the film ‘Befikre’ opposite Ranveer Singh.
