Simmba has taken a good start on Monday (4th day) at box office in Morning shows. Thus, film is certain to emerge as a HIT now. Yes, holiday weekend is still continuing and only on Wednesday real weekdays will start. But by then film will already be in HIT zone.
Now coming to Monday, film has opened to 30-31% occupancy in Morning shows. This is nearly similar to Friday morning levels. Means, there is no significant drop as such on Monday. With such start and high ticket rates, film is all set to cross 15 crore mark for the day unless it shows less than usual growth in later half of the day.
Monday -> 30-31%
Sunday -> 50-55%
Saturday -> 35-36%
Sunday -> 50-55%
Saturday -> 35-36%
Friday -> 32-33%
The way Simmba is going it is almost certain that film will easily zoom past 150 crore mark in India unless it crashes from 1st Wednesday onward. Means, film should attain Super HIT status.
There is also a realistic chance that film may even touch 175 crore mark in India. As for 200 crore and beyond film will need to trend well in second week also. By 2nd Friday, we will have a clear picture on the lifetime business.
