The War Between Good and Evil Begins - 2.0

After several delays, 2.0 / Robot 2 is now set to blast the big screen. It was in making for almost 4 years and got postponed multiple times due to technical issues during the production.

The film is going to take thunderous start across the country, specially 3D version as this Shankar directorial is the first Indian film to be shot entirely in 3D. It is also the costliest film India has ever made on a budget of $75 million, i.e., ₹ 543 crores and the first Indian film to have 4D SRL Sound.

Majority of the budget went into the visual effects which are done by world renowned studios such as Legacy Effects (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, The Jungle Book, Terminator Genisys, Jurassic World, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Iron Man 3, Life of Pi, The Avengers, Avatar, 2012), Double Negative (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Deadpool 2, Avengers: Infinity War, Thor: Ragnarok, Blade Runner 2049, Dunkirk, Wonder Woman, The Fate of the Furious, Captain America: Civil War, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Ant-Man, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Interstellar, Godzilla, Ex Machina, Man of Steel, The Dark Knight Rises, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Inception, The Dark Knight) andQuantum FX (The Hunger Games, Tron: Legacy, Star Trek).

It's a humble request to our readers that you all should go and experience this science-fiction adventure only in theaters. We've been complaining for many years that Indian cinema can't compete with Hollywood as we don't have that kind of budget. Now that Shankar has made such a film on a never heard before film budget in India, it’s our responsibility to make it a success. Remember if 2.0 turns out to be a smash hit, then it will give confidence to other filmmakers to take risk of producing a film in excess of ₹ 500 crores budget.
