Dilbar girl 'Nora Fatehi' to star with John Abraham in Batla House!

Indian Moroccan dancer-actress Nora Fatehi, will reportedly star opposite John Abraham in Nikkhil Advani’s directorial, Batla House. The film kicked off on October 21st and is based on a real life incident that took place a decade ago. Here, John plays the role of the brave ACP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav. Reports are that Nora plays a pivotal role in the film.

Nora made her acting debut in Kamal Sadanah’s 2014 horror film Roar. She had appeared for a reprised version of the iconic Sirf Tum song, “Dilbar” which was a special appearance in’ Satyameva Jayate,’ that starred John Abraham in the lead.

Nikkhil, who is producing the film with T-Series head Bhushan Kumar, wants Nora to take language classes before shooting. He says,

“Around the time that we were shooting for “Dilbar” I was surprised to learn that Nora was only being used for item songs even though she is really expressive and understands nuances, language of cinema well. All that is needed is to put her through language classes before she starts shooting for the film towards November-end, so she loses her accent.”

Nora is grateful to act alongside John. She says,

Dilbar has done wonders for my career and it makes me happy that I am now acting alongside John,”

The actress also adds,

“I play a key role in the film which requires me to take up extensive workshops with diction classes. It’s an honour to be a part of this project and I am grateful for a team that believes in me as an actor.

Nora confirm the news through a tweet -
