After long shoots in Malta and Abu Dhabi, ‘Bharat’ team gears up for Partition scenes in November.

Bharat, one of the biggies that is set to grace us next year’s Eid, is heading into its final schedule of shooting, post Diwali.  This will happen as soon as Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Disha Patani finish a quick schedule in Mumbai this weekend.

The coming month of November will be a long outdoor schedule during which the Partition sequences will be shot. Salman and Katrina will be joined by Jackie Shroff who plays the former’s father.

Director Ali Abbas Zafar says,

“Yes, the most important schedule of Bharat will begin next month. We will have lengthy sequences set against the backdrop of the Partition and refugee camps from those traumatic times will be recreated in Punjab. We will also be shooting in Delhi inside many historical buildings. This part of the shoot unravels between the 1960s and the ’90s period before the film moves into more contemporary times.”

Reportedly, Salman will be seen in five different looks in the film that spans over 70 years. This is done with the help of prosthetics and VFX.

The film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and jointly produced by Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Nikhil Namit and Salman Khan.
